The Berges de Seine, Paris’ new place for strolling along the Seine, honors several artists for short-lived creations.
Until April 21, it is an amazing street-art work made by Sambre that you can cross at the level of the Assemblée Nationale.
“Spare parts from different furniture and other functional groups used by Human will now enjoy a seaside retreat before returning to dust …” . That is the nutshell philosophy of Sambre, who expressed his art mostly primarily in great volumes .
For this installation, you will find everything ( and anything? ), but only wood or salvage materials. Table, wardrobe or just wood board, the nested pieces give the Seine bank an original geometry.
