The Manufacture 111 is a new Parisian cultural space dedicated to urban art, housed in a former garage of 1500 m2 in the 20th arrondissement (rue des Pyrenees).
Before its opening in April , the Manufacture 111 opens its doors to the public for two weekends in December ( Dec. 7-8 , Dec. 14-15) and the week of December 16 to 22. In this preview, the group 1984 is invited to make works to introduce this new place of cultural expression.
The gross and industrial architecture of this former garage predisposed the Manufacture 111 to become an urban art place . It describes itself as a ” hybrid project which aim is to support huhe and atypical artistic art works.”
In ” preview “, 1984 will offer free public interactive installations, paintings and performances. You will also find a concept store , a brunch space, and even activities for children.
