Until July 12th 2013, you can enjoy in front of the Hotel de Ville (4th arrondissement) a pretty ephemeral garden.
A pleasant green space which combines nature, exhibition, photography, and deckchair for sunbathing!
More than a simple public garden, the ephemeral garden of the Hotel de Ville is an educational and playful place that takes advantage of the event to offers an exhibit about to the different landscapes of the city.
How to reconcile nature and urban landscape, how to preserve the environment while modernizing the city? Many challenges presented to the public in a simple, but interesting, way, with a special focus on “shared gardens”.
Guided tours with landscapers or gardeners are also organized (program information in the hut at the entrance of the garden).
There is also a mini-nursery where fifteen trees grow, a leisure area dedicated to children, and plenty of deckchairs to enjoy the sun surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Hotel de Ville, the Seine and the Île de la Cité.
